What got me started in this was the statements like;

I do not find that correct, in my experience.

Or; “Since the costs are equivalent, why not carry a complete spare electronic pilot?

which infers that the cost of 2 complete autopilots is equal to one windvane.

As I said MANY times, It's great that we all have our own boats.
