Routes on GPS, no. 
In Response To: Survey - who does route planning on their GPS as opposed to just using it for tracking position ()
Not completely meaningful when sailing. I do enter waypoints, like harbor entrances, major, well, waypoints and paths amongst shoals. We usually have the chart (or chartkit) floating around and a large-scale one for distance cruises. No connection to the autopilot.

- What's a GPS? All I need is a stick and a piece of string to do my navigating. '-)
- I use paper charts, verify position with GPS, and mark 1 eyeballs
