Everyone is entitled to opinion and what they prefer. I will say that this is NOT the case of Navionics wanting to pay for Explorer data its a case of we spent our own money to do our own more recent surverys than British Admiralty charts from 100 years ago. There is not a chart for the Bahamas that is mroe recent. Not sure what boats you were on but again, my guess is old Gold chart data from 3 years ago or Classic charts which is older 2008 data.
In the interest of being fair, I have mutliple chart comparisons. I would welcome you to post up a couple screen shots of any three areas you like. I will match those with the same. I can also put up a few new ones as well. My "saying" its better, I get may not be enough. I'm happy to show you. i would not be typing this email if it was three years ago your points are valid. the new data... I'm happy to prove differently and attempt to change the perception.
