Trails

With my Lowrance HDS, I can (and do) save trails of where I've been. I can also select whether to show my current trail or a former trail (I can record a current trail and display a former trail). Backtracking is just as easy as following yesterdays trail in reverse - though I have yet to use this feature, but I can certainly think of times it would be handy (like leaving Napatree at night and following the channel to Stonington).

- What's a GPS? All I need is a stick and a piece of string to do my navigating. '-)
- I use paper charts, verify position with GPS, and mark 1 eyeballs
