so Jeremy tops me! But I was going to mention that I delivered a 160' ex-tuna clipper from the PNW to Japan a few years back. While in the Straits of Juan de Fuca, the AP crapped out. We hand steered all the way across the Pacific--- so there!!!

- What's a GPS? All I need is a stick and a piece of string to do my navigating. '-)
- I use paper charts, verify position with GPS, and mark 1 eyeballs
