From my Maxwell 800 circa 1990. The commutator is an unusual design. The brushes run on a disk surface with segments like a pizza instead of on a cylindrical surface. I dressed the brushes a couple of times but the when it quite the 3rd time finally gave up and got the motor on the right. It weighs about twice what the original does and has about twice the power.

The output shaft looks different but if you want it, it is yours for the postage and a contribution to your local food bank.
