effectively being all chain is a good thing. The extra

200 feet of nylon is really only used to be able to get your 100 feet of chain deployed while using a stern anchor. It's also for those occasional times when you left late on Friday night thinking that the weather wasn't suppose to be any good so nobody will be in the anchorage only to find out that nobody listens to the weather, your the last boat in and the depth is going to be 60 feet. That's when you realize that it's 30 miles back across the channel or you going to be anchoring in the ocean for the night. But your going to call it anchoring at the "outer edge" of the anchorage. A rose is a rose by any other name my friend. Outer edge of an anchorage is very similar to the inner edge of the ocean. :-0 Get a big anchor and lots of anchor line and, and, and a good flopper stopper! And a lee cloth! And bring lots of pillows....
