I think in the future, holding tankage may be an issue for us(15g in a head locker). They put 80 gallons of fuel tankage in the full keel above the lead ballast on this boat. Then added 2-40 gallon water tanks below the settees. So the forward tank is usually dry, 80 is plenty for close to home sailing. But it is nice to have the 120 when were off for a few weeks(we always run out sooner than I expect).

No discharge regulations are only apt to grow so I'd consider putting a large holding tank under the vee berth.

I think Alden made this bow too fine at the entry. This photo Phil took a few years ago distorts it a bit. It's great cutting through choppy seas but when waves get heavy, sometimes it feels like it's little late, coming back up.
