15 feet of chain is a bit thin IMHO. I still

go with the foot of chain per foot of boat length so I'd be looking at something like 30 feet or so. I wouldn't worry about hauling up 30 feet by hand but I believe extra weight in the anchor is always a good thing. I have 4 anchors on board and one is the 22 pound Fortress in a bag. That's a lot of anchor for your boat but you would probably sleep pretty well. I'm not really a fan of light weight aluminum anchors because of getting them to set but have one so I can set 4 anchors off of one side of the boat when anchored in a channel during severe weather. Four anchors off the one side with 5 or 6 lines into the mangrove trees on the other is my preferred method to stay put.
