Do you have a deck wash?

My boat has a very fine bow at the entry. Filling the 40 gallon water tank under the veeberth, lowers the waterline several inches at the bow! And luckily, our boat sits amazingly still without hunting around the anchor. If it weren't for those issues and my aversion to weight, I'd go all chain too, if only for the ease of retrieval of the rode. You'll love it, especially in that you re-built it. I love to see stuff salvaged like that.
