Admiral and I came home today with a Samsung 10" tablet. Currently at the very bottom of the learning curve, but we're learning about how to connect with different things using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Admiral wanted a separate 'real' keyboard so we bought a Bluetooth unit - it's bigger than the tablet! Connecting that is still in the works. Internet via WiFi was quick and painless - much different from the old days where you had to enter POP numbers and all that info - and email flowed like it belonged there!
Seems very strange to buy a machine with no ports - no USB, no Com, no drives, no monitor. Only contact with the world seems to be WiFi and Bluetooth. Doesn't even seem to be provision for a mouse, even on the 'real' keyboard - probably all touch screen?
Guess it's time for another 'Dummies' book..
