Yeah, I know... tack to Hawaii and then come back.

Thinking of moving to Washington... and I want to take the boat. Seems like in the best of conditions, motoring at 5 knots or so, I am still looking at about 21 days.

Any hints or pointers... other than "have it hauled?"

For you east coast folks... the prevailing winds and currents on the west coast move from the northwest. Speaking of which... what do you folks do that make the run down the ICW to the sunny Caribbean... do you bring the boat back? and how?
