of Florida and nothing north of the Florida Georgia boarder so I'm certainly no authority but from my time in Florida and what I've heard is that the east coast of the US is much easier to scale then the west coast. Getting all the way to Main and only doing a couple of over night passages sounds like heaven. The ability to duck in and do some inland waterway passages would turn an a difficult passage into a holiday adventure. I'd love to get my boat over there again. We just got our car totaled in a wreck and my wife won't let me buy a new one until we make a decision about when we will head out again. She doesn't want a new car sitting around for a couple of years doing nothing.
