before we had our Nor'Sea I had another 26 ft boat that I was thinking of moving to the Bay area. Not nearly as far or into the worst weather off the Org coast.

I priced out what it would cost to prep the boat (NOT the best boat) to do the sail. I then priced trucking and the trucking won out. But I did not do either as the job didn't last that long.

Another thought is that when I priced moving boats around the country, the cost of a boat departing Cal. was a LOT less than trying to truck on to Cal. I think the last time I looked, it was less than half price.

Just something to think about.
