I had planned on taking my time... anticipated harbor hopping/gunkholing and motoring most of the way. Kinda figured late spring/early summer.

I'll have to get some numbers from a hauler before I decide either way.

I know that putting it on a boat to haul it up was out of the question... way too expensive, compared to the cost of the boat... at a certain point it makes more sense to just buy a different boat and put "that kind of money" into a refit.

You folks are telling me pretty much what I suspected anyway. "go south my friend... " LOL
