We certainly were amazed by the lack of boats on the Cape just after labor day. You always see a switch thrown when kids go back to school, but on boats around, it seemed more dramatic. I don't think weather helped either with Irene causing many to call it a season early.

I saw very few boats going either way to the Cape and back.
