It's a stretch to call Sag Harbor NY metro

It's out on the South Fork of eastern Long Island, about 100 miles from Manhattan. Everywhere else around (3-mile Harbor, Montauk, Greenport, Coecles) is still in the $40+ range, to my knowledge. I just looked at ActiveCaptain reviews, and it has prices from this summer for Coecles Harbor Marine and Sag Harbor municipal moorings at $1.50/foot (first time I've ever seen a per-foot price on a mooring). So if DDW's boat is 53 feet that does get up to around $80. I guess the justification is predicated on "affordability" -- kind of like an income tax table. Anchoring out is still an option.
