I know a number of poople that simply cashed it in for the season after Irene. When you have a 10 week season and you lose a week -- do the math.

The costs of the marinas in overtime really helped the staff -- but it is really damaging to the owners and their ability to sustain the operations. That's on top of a poor season. But the result is going to be cutting back on staff sooner, rather than later. Tightening belts, etc.
