  • This season, several marina managers in Maine, Mass, and RI all confirmed that:
    • I've heard similar reports this season.
      • The marinas were crying -- they lost the last and major weekend income
        • And municipal harbors will get heat from taxpayers to raise rates.
          • We noticed a lot of empty private moorings in Somesville at peak season
            • Hinckley is good news. This recession has skipped some zip codes.
              • Friends just had a major refit done to their Island Packet by Front Street.
