It is a pretty spot and Florida is a beautiful state. I'm always amazed how much of it is water when you fly over it.

Port Everglades is like a huge marine terminal. Masses of people come and go through there, many on the cruise ships.

The only downside was that it's so hard to get around on foot, the car is king. Then if you rent a car, you have to deal with parking all the time. Just as well to stay put and watch it all go by.
