hehehhe, quite so, quite so....

My dad is 92 years old and has had NO major health issues his entire life, still very active and runs a small ranch by himself. Last winter I was there for a visit and we were having a bowl of cereal for breakfast and I watched as he heaped tablespoon after tablespoon of white sugar onto his portion (I guarantee you it was a quarter of a cup of refined sugar.) I said "Dad, isn't that much sugar bad for you?" "Well", he replied "I've been doing it for 85 years, almost every morning - hasn't been a problem yet!" On the few days he doesn't have cereal for breakfast he has bacon and eggs ...that must be what's saving his life.

It's all in the genes my friends, if you got em you got em - I'm not so sure I got em.

Rich, I meant to tell you, my new book's out on Amazon now (Kindle in about a week as well) not sailing related but I think you might like it:
