CMap charts have all the underlying data available. Click on a depth (for example) and an information box comes up telling you all sorts of things like the date of the last survey, the expected deviation around that depth, etc. Sometimes multiple pages of additional information. I don't know about other chart formats. This is one of the many advantages of vector charting, once one gets past being uncomfortable not having their electronic charts being exact visual replicas of paper ones.
