Why memorize port and starboard?

() There are stickers for that. This boat showed up as my next door neighbour last year and yes, the stickers made me nervous. I'm pretty sure the stickers were there from a PO though, the new owner seemed to know enough about boats.

- Electronic navigation has surely drawn in more people who cannot be bothered with learning navigation though.
