Putting a display FLAT is not such a good idea

() Aside from depending in the waterproofing of all of the switches, rockers, buttons, etc. -- the brightness and glare is an issue for readability.
The display is optimized for viewing at different angles, too. Further, at night you will be ruining the watch crew's vision with the display.
