I hear you, you had dismal performance from your CQR. I heard others say that having switched to Rocna's et al. In that case(or others with poor CQR performance) , I applaud your upgrade(s).

What you're not hearing is; I've had much better performance with 2 CQR's on two different boats over 30 years of coastal sailing and cruising. If I bought a Rocna, and it sets everytime, I'll be only a bit ahead of the results I'm getting now. Not enough of a return on investment for me.

Your analogy: my old anchor is performing well where as my old sails, were not, isn't accurate, in my case.
