I love this conversation. Mine is bigger than yours. 
Just sayin', but like Tom, I've cruised on 3 boats over the last 35 years, 30, 39, 42 and used CQRs the entire time as my cat anchor. Countless anchorages and all weather, including 2 hurricanes. In all that I dragged once (1) yes once. Why? Because I follow Tom's priorities. I don't anchor stupid so my trusty 60lb CQR with 120 ft of 5/8" chain has served me well. I see plenty of the "next generation" anchors on bow pulpits but I'm here to tell you that the biggest NT anchor won't make up for anchoring stupid.
