but Europe and Canada have an S57 like Standard that CE can use. I forget what the designator is right now. But CE has the ability to download and license European and Canadian charts.
My understanding was that The S57 standard was a worldwide standard and most countries were pursuing their version of the S57 locally. S57 being our designator for the standard.
If you go on the CE website into the beta forum, there is some discussion of this in the forum. If I remember correctly, it was back in late spring, early summer. At least one Canadian and European vendor was mentioned as I recall.
