We use our C-series chartplotter but have been exploring SeaClear here in the Western Caribbean. A boat ( Soggy Paws ) has put together a package for the San Blas and Panama using the MapCal utility so it's a good backup.

Everything works except for our course. We have a track and speed but our direction doesn't display. The icon for the boat is heading any direction except the direction we're going but, the track is correct so it's getting the information. I've tried to figure out the problem but nada.

The NEMA cable is hooked up correctly as my other program ( Capn ) shows the course. I just don't have any electronic charts for the Western Caribbean which is the reason we like SeaClear and the MapCal utility.

I tried to join the SeaClear Yahoo group but the moderator seems to have gone missing so I can't be accepted at this time.

Any ideas??
