We have paper usually set up to use, i.e. Chart Book with relevant charts in or on the chart table ready to use if all of the various devices go tits up.
Frankly, electronic charts are more convenient. It is amusing to paruse them occarionally -- but almost always when the boat isn't moving.
It would be irresponsible not to have paper charts and sufficient situational awareness to make a reasonable transition them from electronic charts/support.
The electronics do use a bunch of power -- just like the refrigeration system, you need a way to replenish the battery draw.
