ours. each time ours dropped from the chart table, it hit the Teak and Holly sole. I managed to miss the carpet area. :) I thought I might break the monitor, but not so.

I do have a couple of small scratches on 2 of the corners, but at the price of this computer, I'm not concerned at all.

As I see it, our stuff is all tools to make life better for us. So I don't tend to baby our stuff. We just use it as it is needed. I don't mean to sound ruthless, I do try to keep our stuff nice, I just don't flinch from use.

One of the BIG benefits of these computers is that SD card! We actually have 2 Eees. Jill has one and I have one. If I was to drop mine and it spilled it guts all over the cabin, I could just remove the SD card from mine, slip it into Jill's and I am back up and running as if nothing had taken place. *yks
