... three of them here. We not quite doubled our Ah capacity. No more low voltages in the mornings, sometimes I would have to run the engine for a quick charge just to get the morning weather recap on the SSB. What this meant for us was fewer engine runs, we don't use that much energy, easily under 100 Ah / day (with refrig & small freezer in the Bahamas), nice bright reading lights at night, I'm sure everything that requires power is happier w/the increased voltages (pumps, compressors, instruments, whatever), I'm no longer glued to the LINK 20 battery monitor, in fact I rarely pay any attention to it now, I'm not sure we ever saw voltage less than 12.5 on the last trip, where as before, I rarely saw voltages above 12.4.
When I get around to installing solar, that will complete a many year intensive DC redo, and keep these Lifeline batteries topped off and like new for years to come I hope.
