The state of charge feature is that bar indicator on the right side of the display

The owners manual claims that it gives a constantly updated reading of the battery's state of charge but I wonder if it's really just interpolating state of charge from the voltage reading. My house bank is rarely at rest so any guesstimate based on the voltage reading won't be accurate. They are usually in use or receiving some small degree of charge from the solar panel.

When you get around to upgrading your fuse panel you'll have a much neater finished product than mine if you can afford to go with 12v breakers. There is quite a mass of wire hidden behind the switch panel going to and from the fuse blocks. Chassis mount type holders for glass fuses would have used less wire but I wanted to go with automotive ATC type fuses.
