I have a plastic tank that I can see the side of...
In Response To: How are you calculating burn rate? ()
When I filled it the first time I did it in 5 gallon increments and marked the tank. The tank is rectangular, so when it was full I made up a calibration strip I put on the outside. I simply open a cabinet door and read off fuel in the tank to 0.1 gallons. The 0.315 gph number was based on actual fuel consumption for 8 hours run time at 6.5 knots.
