But the water is brown in color as I recall

() Been down the ICW only once and that was in 2003, but the water was brown in the Neuse River area and that was a turn off for me. I guess if one could get used to looking at it and no longer be reminded of un-flushed toilets, it might be a great place to live/retire.

- Not much. Lots seem really cheap, some waterfront available to build. Built waterfront not so cheap but.....
- There's no substitute for going there
- Or too hot and muggy...
- San Diego has a lot more going for it
- Indeed San Diego IS a wonderful area...

- Affordable, interesting, high quality of life, great weather, world class sailing ground, easy....
- And, take advantage of your high realestate value, rent your home.
- This has been a consideration for a long time...
