Some interesting waters in and around Oriental...

() I just noticed the vertical clearance of the 55 highway bridge is only 45 feet. (I'd clear it) I also noticed all the skinny water in that area... whew!
Interesting way to shop for a retirement location, eh? Consult the nautical charts and zillow GRIN

- Live in Oriental or nearby or? I looked at real estate in the area last evening for amusement.

- Not much. Lots seem really cheap, some waterfront available to build. Built waterfront not so cheap but.....
- There's no substitute for going there
- Or too hot and muggy...
- San Diego has a lot more going for it
- Indeed San Diego IS a wonderful area...

- Affordable, interesting, high quality of life, great weather, world class sailing ground, easy....
- And, take advantage of your high realestate value, rent your home.
- This has been a consideration for a long time...
