They DO take out the trash...
In Response To: And in Block Island, they deliver.. ()
err.. or someone else does. This last summer there were some enterprising young lads with a skiff who sold ice and would take your trash ashore too, for a fee. I still did my own schlepping.

- Not much. Lots seem really cheap, some waterfront available to build. Built waterfront not so cheap but.....
- There's no substitute for going there
- Or too hot and muggy...
- San Diego has a lot more going for it
- Indeed San Diego IS a wonderful area...

- And, take advantage of your high realestate value, rent your home.
