New York to Annapolis was 4 days, Cape Cod canal to Boothbay was 4 days of daysails. I found it far more interesting north of Boothbay. Of course you will be able to get to more of the Chesapeake than I could. But I found the sailing, weather, geography, and pastries better north, than south. Of course you should do both....

- So please tell us more about Chesapeake

- Not much. Lots seem really cheap, some waterfront available to build. Built waterfront not so cheap but.....
- There's no substitute for going there
- Or too hot and muggy...
- San Diego has a lot more going for it
- Indeed San Diego IS a wonderful area...

- Everyplace is a compromise
- Affordable, interesting, high quality of life, great weather, world class sailing ground, easy....
- And, take advantage of your high realestate value, rent your home.
- This has been a consideration for a long time...
