Gene, SO SORRY to hear, but.... 
In Response To: Oh the irony abounds... ()
it might be time to go cruising? ..... I know it's to early just now, but had to say it..... 
I HATE that feeling. When I was working Aerospace, it seemed I was always on the edge of going out the door, until I was within a year of retirement, then I could not get them to lay me off!!! AND I tried.
I hear that Mexico mix-up is over, or about so, might be a good time to visit......

- Not much. Lots seem really cheap, some waterfront available to build. Built waterfront not so cheap but.....
- There's no substitute for going there
- Or too hot and muggy...
- San Diego has a lot more going for it
- Indeed San Diego IS a wonderful area...

- Affordable, interesting, high quality of life, great weather, world class sailing ground, easy....
- And, take advantage of your high realestate value, rent your home.
- This has been a consideration for a long time...
