My son is finishing college and we thought about renting the house to him and/or others while we take off cruising for Baja... that idea has not been shelved... but in the meantime, we are keeping options open... and NC seemed like an interesting option.
The real goal is to stop the 60+ hour rat race while I can still enjoy the world.

- Live in Oriental or nearby or? I looked at real estate in the area last evening for amusement.

- Not much. Lots seem really cheap, some waterfront available to build. Built waterfront not so cheap but.....
- There's no substitute for going there
- Or too hot and muggy...
- San Diego has a lot more going for it
- Indeed San Diego IS a wonderful area...
