There is too much variation in when people replace such things. I know people that replace sails every year and I know others with 20+ year old sails. Furthermore, for things like sails, some people will pay $10K-$15K for the sails on their 40 footer and others will be happy with $3K sails. There is just too much variability for the numbers to be meaningful. I did include bottom paint since that is an every year thing for me - $80. I also included safety gear (flares etc.) since they are only good for a couple of years. I didn't include things like painting the hull, because that is totally meaningless because of different attitudes toward cosmetics
