60' is pretty deep..depth really increases the cost....
Todd...thanks a ton for the info. Anyone have any experience or info about all-rope moorings?
I'm suspicious of those rope moorings -- because any hard marine growth will cause chafe (pic)

It's all local. Ours are inspected by diving or lifting. Once a year, and gets a town inspection tag. (nm)

Actually my costs have nothing to do with public access in Maine...
I'm surprised. I would think you could rent mooring space from the town up there.
I do pay a mooring fee to the town, but...
That the town allows you setting a mooring and has shoreland for you to get there, is public access.

Little Harbor in Portsmouth has no town dock
Of course you need to amortize wear items

I didn't include amortized costs of replacement of things like sails becasue...
If you skimp on those things you pay at resale time. If you've used it up or replaced with crap, it's crap.
Another thing to consider: You don't know your total cost of ownership until after you sell.
