Catamaran abandoned 300 miles off Norfolk...
Nothing remarkable about such an occurrence these days, of course... Just another $500K boat left out there, about to take an unmanned ride on the Gulf Stream...
But what makes this one a bit more 'interesting', is that 2 of the 4 aboard are Offshore Passage Opportunities/NARC guru Hank Schmitt, and SAIL magazine's Charlie Doane, a pair of very experienced and capable offshore sailors... The debrief on this one should be interesting, to say the least... (grin)

The CG rescue video is better than average, never ceases to amaze what those guys do, especially when one considers they so often perform these rescues AT NIGHT...
