also wonder what the story is behind the large fixed 3 blade props on a cat. They are suppose to be fast, right?
It is good to know they spent a few days trying. Could be that being that far offshore, towing wasn't really an economic option, perhaps the boat was well insured and that makes it easier to give up.
They were "slammed by a large wave". That boat has some huge picture windows, don't look wave proof (or even wave resistant actually). I wonder if that figured into things?
