I didn't mean "spin", in that sense...

Just that when viewing the initial footage, it seemed they had no clue they might be getting into shallow water, and that whatever "mistake" was made, was solely on the shoulders of the navigator...

Very curious about this second video, however... Some of the footage from the first has been deleted, particularly the guys saying "check this out", etc...

One can only wonder about their reason for doing that, no?

One of the guys on SA thinks that's the skipper Nicholson's voice calling out about the depth, and they're sailing "over some shoals"... Yikes, they're sailing in tropical waters, fer chrissake, you don't typically find "shoals" that aren't abutted by some seriously crunchy bits in the middle of the damn ocean...

Extreme fatigue MUST have been a major player in this event, seems to me - it's the only thing that might explain that sort of delayed reaction or ability to grasp full situational awareness from such an experienced sailor...
