() If your chart plotter only uses Navionics charts, don't go to the Bahamas without paper charts. I've gotten to the point where I use my Raymarine chart plotter here only as a blank lat-lon grid onto which I can put waypoints from my paper Explorer charts. CMap charts are fine - they use the Explorer data. Navionis charts here are dangerously bad. That's not a method issue, but a source of data issue.

- I can see that happening. I had to zoom out to 90 NM for those islands to disappear on an ipad.
