That's (6,000'/nm) * (19 kmh) / (3,600 second/hour) = 316.66' @ 10 seconds travelled at 19 knots. That's a world class sprinter's speed.

In 300 seconds (5' minutes) -- you will have travelled 9,500 feet.

They were travelling at a pace of a horse doing a mile every 2.77 minutes. ((nl)
