Interesting, since it would seem to indicate some national "territory" existing inside that boundary, no?
Turns out that the Cargados Carajos is a somewhat popular diving destination, tourists come up from Mauritius, or Rodrigues, probably on liveaboard dive boat charters... Not unlike the reef that the Navy minesweeper ran up on in the Philippines recently...
One wag over on Sailing Anarchy posted, "when you reach a spot that tourists have pinned with photos on Google Earth, it's probably time to GYBE AWAY... (grin)
