Which is very believable and frankly a disadvantage we all(sailors) face regularly.
Doubling down on all their navigation systems will likely be the new rule,...and the cure from now on. And that will work even if pressed for time.
Easy to say from my warm kitchen on the coast of Maine, far from the rocks out there.

- I can see that happening. I had to zoom out to 90 NM for those islands to disappear on an ipad.
