In addition, I was really impressed by the videos from ALVIMEDICA, as they stood by that night... That guy Will Oxley- in the pic below - he's the Real Deal...
Turns out he was the navigator in the Flinders Island race in Oz a few years ago on another boat, when that maxi SHOCKWAVE plowed straight into an island at night, with the loss of 2 of her crew. Oxley was apparently largely responsible for coordinating the rescue efforts of the coast guard, and other yachts... A very cool customer, the ultimate professional, the kids on ALVIMEDICA are fortunate to have him aboard...
