an old geezer Jon! That, or I have enough self confidence to know that I could easily do the run in far less of a boat. And I don't need to go with a group to be safe, or show off the size of my boat to impress others.

With a different boat I could spend the rest of the $ on other fun stuff. It falls in line with weddings now days. I had a friend who was getting married and the cost was over $30,000.00 I told her she was dumb to throw a one day party for others for that amount. Us the same dollars, elope, put 20K down on a house, and take a 10K honeymoon!! MUCH more fun. She just laughed at me.
